TBS-380 Mini Fluorometer

The TBS-380 Mini Fluorometer is a sensitive, compact benchtop fluorometer that is ideal for measuring DNA, RNA and proteins. Using the optional Minicell Adaptor, this fluorometer can detect as little as 50 pg of DNA while only using a sample volume of 50 µL. These small assay volumes save precious samples and expensive reagents.

(This instrument is granted quarterly)

Picofluor Handheld Fluorometer

The Picofluor Handheld Fluorometer is a portable, battery-powered fluorometer that features high sensitivity, data logging, and two different fluorescence channels in a compact package. The Picofluor™ handheld fluorometer is ideal for measuring a wide variety of fluorophore, including PicoGreen, RiboGreen, GFP, and Hoechst 33258 Dye. It is designed for assays that will be performed outside the traditional lab setting.

Choose from either of these Picofluor™ models: 8000-003 with UV/Blue Channels (UV Ex 365-395 nm Em > 430 nm, Blue Ex 475 ± 15 nm Em 515 ± 10 nm), or 8000-004 with Green/Blue Channels (Green Ex 540 ± 20 nm Em Emission: > 570 nm, Blue Ex 475 ± 15 nm Em 515 ± 10 nm).

Modulus Single Tube Fluorometer

The Modulus Single Tube Fluorometer is a sensitive, flexible laboratory fluorometer. Several optical kits are available for the most common fluorescent applications. The optics are factory installed into an Optical Kit that snaps into the Modulus. Each kit contains a light source, an excitation filter, and an emission filter to yield the highest performance.

Modulus Microplate Fluorometer

The Modulus™ Microplate Fluorometer stands alone as a high-performance fluorometer. Superior sensitivity and dynamic range are achieved with modern solid-state optics rather than traditional lamps and detectors. Each Fluorescence Optical Kit employs a powerful LED to excite samples with energy at the optimum wavelength for the selected application. This results in superior sensitivity, specificity, and flexibility. Protocols for nucleic acids and proteins such as PicoGreen®, RiboGreen®, and Quant-iT™ assays are preprogrammed into the instrument for convenience. Cell-based fluorescence assays and gene expression assays using various fluorescent proteins can also be measured. The system can be alternatively configured as a multimode reader for measuring fluorescence and absorbance by purchasing and installing the absorbance module. Installation of the absorbance module is performed one time and takes less than five minutes. This revolutionary modular approach allows adaptable system expansion as needs change in the lab.

(This instrument is granted once per year in June)
